TOBACCO NUTRITION FACTS

Tobacco is a leaf-harvested crop with specific nutritional requirements. Research shows that at maturity, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium uptake is significant, with an early planting date producing higher biomass and greater nutrient demand.

Your Tobacco Formula provides:

HOW TO USE

For 1 Hectare:

  • Mix 500ml of Tobacco Formula with 100 litres of clean water

  • Apply as soil drench or foliar spray

  • Use every 10-14 days during growing season

Critical Timing for Tobacco:

  • Basal application – 65% of nitrogen with all phosphorus and potassium -1

  • Top dressing – Remaining nitrogen within 3 weeks after transplanting -1

  • Potassium before ripening – For leaf quality and burn characteristics -1

Pro Tips:

  • Carry out soil analysis before planting -7

  • Avoid placing fertilizer too close to seedlings to prevent toxicity -7

  • Spray early morning or late afternoon

  • Add 1 tsp liquid soap per 10L for foliar sprays

  • Water plants before applying soil drench

  • Use non-chlorinated water for best results
